I am not going to
Sit and eat with
A little silver spoon
The love in front of me

I will only lift my
Bowl unto my face
And drown in my love
Until I have eaten it all

  2. Now if there is such a thing as an extreme way to devour your bowl food, then you have just illustrated it.

    This is a visual delight.

  7. This sounds like the most delicious of meals!

Thanks for the concern about the weather, but thankfully I live in the Pacific Northwest and the weather is pretty mild here at the moment. We've even been relatively rain free lately which is rare. I am still hoping foe some snowfall at least one time before Spring. I would be happy with a couple of inches!

  8. C, you are extraordinary with your imagery. This gave me goosebumps with no geese around :) The mark of a true poet is one who knows how to express with imagery - without that there is no poetic verse. I bow to you my dear :)

  9. When beauty and the heart combine, the result is your writings. I sit, I relax and I stop thinking about anything except your beautiful words and I whisper "thank you" for the moments peace. AS you paint your pictures in words, We read. Always, Darrel

  12. Darrel,

I read your comment in my email last night, and it made me cry. It made my heart swell so big, until I cried.

I feel so very very very honored to be able to make someone say "thank you" for the peace that I can give through my writings.

"When beauty and heart combine, the result is your writings..." this is such a beautiful thing to say...thank you so much. I feel deeply honored and deeply thankful, and truly humbled.

If the great poet Joanne Olivieri has bowed to me...I can truly say that I have surpassed my previous horizons, and now soar even higher! :) And I'm thankful to have met you, while I was flying :)

What encouraging and inspiring words you have left for me here. Thank you. :)
