Αλφα and Ωμέγα

I took this photo in Portovenere, Italia, as the sun set over the Ligurian Sea.

Αλφα and Ωμέγα
(March 31, 2010)

I see it I feel it
Rushing towards me over the
Peaceful rage of the sea
As my feet sink into the
Sands of this shore
The Αλφα and Ωμέγα
Speaks to me
That is His voice
I see it I feel it
The very existence of it
Pulls the matter of the air
And space and rips through
The skies and through time
And overcomes the presence of
The living waves beneath it
And over the midnight deep of
The ocean and cutting through
The violet and magenta of the air
The Αλφα and Ωμέγα speaks to me
His voice comes to me
Like the rippling and bubbling of
The seafoam dancing over my skin
His voice heals me
His voice comforts me
He is with me
The Αλφα and Ωμέγα
My Father

  4. A lovely poem, dear one, and the photograph is lovely as well -the ocean always gives me such a sense of peace and joy...though I love it raging moods as well as long as it isn't causing destruction.

  6. When I look at the ocean, I hear the calls, like I am a mermaid and needs to go back home. Gorgeous photo with light and darkness.
